Revolution’s N gauge versions of the Alcan PCA alumina tank have reached the EP sample stage.

The samples arrived just before The International N Gauge Show in Warwickshire allowing us to display them to visitors. Now they will be assessed and feedback sent to the factory.

Revolution is offering versions in original Alcan and Alcan debranded livery with ladders, and in Rio Tinto, Lochaber/Liberty and Alvance livery without ladders.

Interestingly since its repaint 66301 in its striking Drax gold livery – also being offered by Revolution Trains – has been working the Alcans on their journey between Blyth and Fort William.

Decorated samples of these models are expected in the next few weeks and they are likely to go into production before the end of the year.
