The second batch of popular N gauge Class 66s have already been produced and will be available shortly from your preferred retailer.

We focussed on “standard” workhorse liveries in batch 2 to complement the batch 1 locos with many of batch 1 already sold out.
EWS 66006: 66006 was one of the first 66s in the UK. Presented here with the later driver mirrors, original BMAC lights and swinghead couplers.

DRS 66401: 66401 in DRS compass livery with bug eye lights.

Team GBRf

GBRf 66302: the eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed a sample of this model that sneaked into a batch 1 image. 66302 was taken on by GBRf following it being off lease from DRS. It was quickly stripped of DRS logos and adorned with large GBRf lettering. It entered service with Fastline in 2008, before being acquired by Eversholt and leased to DRS, receiving DRS blue livery, before being passed on to GBRf in 2022.
GBRf 66701 ‘Whitemoor’: appears in original GBRf format as one of the small batch of 7 originally introduced by GBRf but with the cabside and front ‘First’ branding applied in 2004.
GBRf Europorte 66770: part of the final batch of locos built at Muncie, Indiana with revised details including cab front recess and extended sandboxes.
GBRf 66798: one of a pair of locos with 66795 (produced as part of Batch 1) repatriated from Germany with ‘Euro’ details including extended horn grille, UIC cab interior and rectangular buffers.

Colas 66849 ‘Wylam Dilly’: appears with Colas’s diamond logos and bugeye lights.

Freightliner 66615: 66615 in Freightliner’s green livery with ‘bugeye’ lights represents one of the lower-geared 66/6 versions as used by Freightliner Heavy Haul.
