All the versions of our forthcoming N gauge PTA/JUA/JTA tippler box wagons and JSA steel coil carriers are now available to pre-order as the model enters the tooling stage.

For the most popular versions of tipplers were offering outer and inner 5-packs – all with individual numbers to allow modellers to build up realistic rakes. The outer packs contain 2 x outers and 3 x inners with one of the outers also having a working battery operated tail lamp.

The first run of liveries is intended to complement our recent Class 59s and includes:
- Foster Yeoman ‘big Y’ livery – outer and inner packs;
- ARC – outer and inner packs;
- British Steel grey and orange iron ore tipplers – outer and inner packs;
- British Steel blue/orange iron ore tipplers – outer and inner packs; and
- VTG grey aggregate box – outer pack only (the VTG grey JUAs frequently ran in mixed rakes with faded Yeoman liveried PTA/JUAs).

You can see some of the flows that the tippler wagons were used on in our maps:

In 1996 some of the redundant tipplers were converted into JSA steel coil carriers.

For the JSA steel coil carriers we are offering them as twin packs with two twin packs of each livery: British Steel blue and VTG (all wagons have unique numbers).

The JSAs were used to take coil for further processing across the UK:

As usual pre-ordering gets customers the wagons at a discount to full retail price. Customers can pay in full or pay a 50% deposit (with the balance due once production is complete). We will also be introducing a new flexible payment mechanism over the next few weeks (subject to successful testing) allowing customers pay in more instalments or as they wish over a period of time.
All versions can be pre-ordered from the Shop section of our website – please click on Pre-orders > N/2mm > PTA/JUA/JTA tippler and JSA coil carrier wagons.
