The deadline for preorders of our TT:120 MMA/JNA-T ‘EALNOS’ box wagon is fast approaching at the end of June 2026. Development of our first TT:120 wagon has been completed and we’re ready to start production. As a result preorders will close on 30 June 2026 so that production can begin with models expected towards the end of 2026.
There are around 1200 of these wagons on the network now and they are used by nearly every freight operator. These wagons are the ideal accompaniment to the Hornby Class 66 in DB, GBRf and Colas liveries, though they can also be seen hauled by Classes 56, 59 and 60. More information on the real wagons can be found here (including sample consists and route flows).
Models can be preordered from our shop or from any of our retailers with an MSRP of £44.95.
Standard releases
MMA-A DB Red
DB was the first operator to introduce the wagons, with 166 coming into service from 2016. The DB versions feature 9-ribs with bodyside doors and body-mounted parking brakewheels.
DB uses its wagons primarily for traffic from the Derbyshire quarries at Peak Forest to destinations in the Midlands and north of England, along with north Wales.

JNA-T Ermewa, Tarmac grey
These versions are similar to the DB MMA wagons, but do not feature the bodyside doors on each side. They are used primarily to transport stone from Tarmac’s large quarry at Mountsorrel to destinations across the south and east of England.

JNA-T GBRf blue
GBRf operates several variants of the JNA wagons; the models offered by Revolution represent those used from wagon lessors VTG and Ermewa and have 11 ribs, side doors and bogie mounted brakewheels.
The GBRf wagons are used in a variety of flows.

JNA-T VTG Mendip Rail silver
Since 2016 Mendip Rail has used a fleet of more than 60 JNA-Ts leased from VTG; they are simnilar to the 11-rib versions operated by GBRf but lack the side doors.
Their main use is for stone traffic from the giant Somerset quarries to depots across the south of England and into the midlands for unloading points that do not have the discharge equipment needed for the company’s large fleet of hopper wagons.

JNA-T Wascosa Network Rail yellow
Network Rail has a fleet of 50 wagons leased from Wascosa in their distinctive yellow livery. They feature the same 11-rib body as the Mendip Rail versions, but have brake equipment closer to that on the original DB MMA wagons with body-mounted parking brake wheels.
They are mainly used to deliver ballast to the network of virtual quarries where it is kept until needed for infrastructure upgrades.

Exclusive releases (all produced in limited numbers)
TMC
TMC have commissioned two exclusive liveries – Touax maroon and Cappagh/VTG blue with 4 numbers of each livery.
Touax
The Touax JNAs are used as part of the Mendip fleet transporting aggregates out of the Somerset quarries across the South of England.

Cappagh
Cappagh / VTG run sets of lighter blue JNAs across a variety of sites in the South of England and also hire out the wagons if needed to other operators (eg a rake of these JNAs ran on the Cumbrian coast for a period). The Cappagh JNAs are a mixture of branded (versions 107A/B/C) and unbranded (version 107D) as per the real wagons. As this is a new commission we won’t have time to prepare livery samples before production.

TTC Diecast / Malc’s Models
TTC Diecast and Malc’s Models have jointly commissioned two DB red MMAs with “Special Products” branding – these were used for different grades of aggregate (but are now back in the general DB pool).

TTC Diecast
TTC Diecast have also commissioned exclusive numbers of some of the “standard” release liveries (as above images) to give customers even more choice as follows:
