The majority of our N gauge Class 313s and 314s are due to ship from the factory on 2 September 2026 and are due to arrive week commencing 7 September. If the models arrive next week we will start to post them out week commencing 14 September 2026 (due to TINGS).
The models will arrive in two batches – Batch 2 is will contain the BR blue-grey, First Capital Connect and the DCC sound-fitted Network Rail 313s (exclusive to Rails of Sheffield) with Batch 1 containing all the other models.
Collection at TINGS: if possible (ie if the models have arrived in time!) customers will be able to collect orders at TINGS. We can’t guarantee that this will be possible as it will depend on when the models clear customs and exactly which day they are delivered to us. We will not be creating a form for collections and no need to contact us requesting collections – if the models arrive in time we will take stock with us.
Change of address: If you need to change your delivery address please update the shipping address in your account. If you change your address after 28 August 2026 please drop us a message to let us know so that we can check it has been picked up.
Balance invoices: apart from a small number of balance invoices (mostly to the USA) all balance invoices have been generated. If you are expecting a balance invoice and haven’t received it yet please login to your account on our website and go to Orders where you should see any outstanding balance invoices with the a “Pay” button next to them. If you paid in full then you don’t need to do anything – we will send out your order(s) when the models arrive.
We would be grateful if you could pay your balance invoice(s) before the models arrive so that we can get your orders out as quickly as possible.
Despatch emails: Please note when you pay a balance invoice the website automatically updates the deposit part of your order to “Complete” and sends you an email saying your order has been despatched – this is an automatic software bug that we can’t change. Your order is actually despatched when we mark the balance part of the order as “Complete” ie despatched (you should also receive tracking information from Royal Mail). No orders will ship before The International N gauge show (TINGS) on 12/13 September.
