It’s Gold, Silver and Bronze for Revolution!

Revolution Trains would like to thank everyone who voted for us in the BRM/RM Web/World of Railways awards.

Our N gauge Caledonian Sleeper coaches scooped gold again, while we won silver for N Gauge manufacturer of the Year and Bronze for our Class 128 parcels unit and IIA-D Drax biomass hoppers.

We’d also like to congratulate the other winners, not just in N but in all scales and gauges.

The Awards were handed out during the recent London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace which was a very enjoyable show with plenty to see and a great chance for us to chat to customers new and old.

Our highlights included, from top: First showing for Island Line 2-car 1938 stock train in N, Francis Bourgeouis grabs a selfie with Revolution’s Customer Service Manager Simon, 00 IHA steel carrier first EP sample (missing some etched details), sublime N gauge layout City Basin Goods with Revolution Class B tankers, the Alexandra Palace TV tower, Revolution deputise for the Double Deckers on the shuttle bus, Lacey Dale – the Peak District in N, getting the stand set-up and an eyecatching (and deceiving) diorama from Peco.

Revolution’s next show is Model World Live at the NEC on April 27-28th, with Key Publishing.

This show marks a new departure as it features not just 35+ layouts, and numerous traders and manufacturers from the world of model railways, but also scale model aircraft, military model displays and radio controlled models. See you there!
