Mercig’s mucky marvels…

Mercig Studios have sent us images of a couple of Revolution Trains models they’ve recently weathered for their customers.

First up is 92041 ‘Vaughan Williams’ which is a pristine Revolution Trains model that has been weathered and renumbered. Additional front end details and photo-etched BR logo and tunnel roundels (supplied with the model) have been fitted and the model has been medium-weathered.

This pair of IZA Cargowaggon twin vans has received a significantly heavier patina of dirt. In addition, subtle touches include the ‘wiped clean’ panels and the white patches on the Cargowaggon lettering itself, replicated the tendency of the real markings to peel off.
