Description

The All-steel K-type Pullmans were introduced in 1928 for use by the LNER on the Queen of Scots service. BR reintroduced Pullman services in 1948.  By the 1950s Pullman cars were being used on the Queen of Scots still but also on newer services such as: the Yorkshire Pullman; Tees Tyne Pullman; and the Master Cutler.

This pack contains 4 coaches: Car No. 78 – Car No. 80 – Car No. 70  – Car No. 82 (Third Brake – Third Brake – Third Kitchen – Third Brake)

This pack is useful for the 1950s Pullman services which were often formed of different types of Pullmans.  These can be combined with the Queen of Scots Pack A or B for the late 1940s – 1950s particularly for the non-Queen of Scots Pullman services.

Livery details for this pack: white roofs, original Pullman coat of arms, umber fascia boards and “Car No. XX” branding (livery suitable from 1950s).

Our highly detailed 1:148 (UK N gauge) model features:

  • different body styles appropriate for each coach type
  • NEM standard coupling sockets with kinematic close coupling system
  • Prism Free Glazing
  • Fully detailed Underframe
  • Fully detailed and painted / printed accurate interiors
  • Interior lighting and working table lamps
