Description
The All-steel K-type Pullmans were introduced in 1928 for use by the LNER on the Queen of Scots service. Soon after in 1928 the GWR introduced its own Pullmans to run on the Torquay Pullman Limited and Plymouth Ocean Liner Express services. In 1931 the GWR’s Pullmans were transferred to the Southern Railway (SR) for use on their Ocean Liner Express and Bournemouth Belle.
This pack contains 4 coaches: Evadne – Juana – Lucille – Loraine (2 x Kitchen Firsts and 2 x Parlour Firsts)
In GWR use the Pullmans would be combined with normal GWR coaching stock to make up a complete train, whilst the SR ran trains of all Pullmans (for example the Pullman Thirds in our SR Pack 2).
Livery details for this pack: white roofs and umber fascia boards.
