As can be seen from the images below, while Maritime Transport Ltd is an intermodal business, the reliveried locomotives are used on a variety of traffic with numerous wagons already offered by Revolution including Drax biomass IIA-D hoppers, WIA articulated car carriers, IHA covered steel wagons, and MMA or JNA box wagons.

The models are fully licenced by Maritime Transport Ltd and the stylish blue livery has not been available ready-to-run in N gauge before now.

Rainbow’s Colin Rae said: “We’re delighted to be working alongside Revolution Trains on a range of bespoke Class 66 models and equally pleased to be teaming up with The Model Centre to bring these attractive Maritime Intermodal models to market.

“This collaboration allows modellers to choose from standard, sound-fitted and professionally weathered options, making this a really special release.”

Alex Yates, from The Model Centre, added: “Through this low-number model collaboration with Rainbow Railways and Revolution Trains, we’re bringing exclusivity to N gauge model collectors.

“With Revolution’s Class 66 platform a proven success, it seemed the obvious choice to create these strictly limited-edition models.”

These models are available in limited numbers and only available from The Model Centre or Rainbow Railways.
