Revolution Trains is delighted to be attending the Greatest Gathering by Alstom – a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the first passenger railway in the world, between Stockton and Darlington – from this Friday August 1st to Sunday August 3rd.

Revolution is one of several model manufacturers, retailers and layouts that you’ll find in a dedicated model railway village in the centre of the vast site – find us at the end of Electric Avenue!

A vast array of locomotives, multiple units, coaches and wagons have been assembled at Alstom’s Litchurch Lane site in Derby with many thousands of visitors expected to enjoy a weekend of displays, working exhibits and, of course, model railways over the weekend.

Among the many items on display are the new GBRf/Beacon/Stadler Class 99 Co-Co bi-mode, the Rail Operations Group/Stadler Class 93 Bo-Bo tri-mode; models of both of these locomotives are under development by Revolution Trains under licence.

Other exhibits include 66301 in its striking Drax gold livery, accompanied by the matching gold Drax 50 IIA-D biomass hopper, PEP unit 313201 in heritage blue grey livery, 59201 in Freightliner orange, a DB Class 92, Avanti Class 390 Pendolino unit, Southern General Manager’s saloon Caroline and a Cappagh blue JNA; and Revolution will have corresponding models on display where appropriate.

Revolution will have very limited stocks of some of these items available to purchase from our stand.

In addition we will be unveiling samples of upcoming products including our 1928 K-type all steel Pullman cars in N, and our first TT:120 models – the popular and widepsread MMA/JNA box wagons.

We’ll also have some cool free merch for visitors to take away including pens, brochures and Revolution mints.

See you at the show!
